Shari Weaver

Shari Weaver joined the Harbor Interfaith team in May, 2001.  In the past 22 years she has served in a multitude of capacities. Prior to retiring in February, 2024, Shari served as the Regional Coordinator for the Coordinated Entry System (CES), providing direct oversight to three system populations. Besides directly overseeing five Harbor Interfaith housing facilities, she also supervised nine program directors.

Shari served on the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) Continuum of Care (COC) Board for six years representing the South Bay in funding and program-related decisions, thereby ensuring that the South Bay community was informed at all times.

She oversaw SPA 8 regional coordination since its inception to ensure full geographic coverage by coordinating and expanding outreach, effective assistance to help clients navigate the housing system, and efficient and accurate matches to housing resources based on the individual needs and acuity level.

Shari served as Harbor Interfaith liaison, responding to all calls for services from elected officials and community based agencies and constituents.

She has worked in Social Services since 1998, was a former L.A. County Deputy Sheriff, and served as the chair of the South Bay Coalition to End Homelessness.
